The Challenge
Its market is a dense, competitive market for chiropractic. Dozens of practices compete for the same searches, and most patients choose from whoever appears first on the map. The practice has a single location and offering chiropractic care, shockwave therapy and massage. In July 2026 its website recorded about 1,000 sessions for the month, and the practice did not yet hold the top map position for its most important local searches.
The goal was straightforward: make the practice easy to find for the searches people type when they want a chiropractor in its market, and make sure the website loads fast enough to keep the people who arrive.
The Approach
The work ran on three tracks at once.
Local search visibility. We built out condition and service pages that match how patients actually search, including back pain, sciatica, TMJ, pediatric chiropractic and ankle sprains, plus neighborhood-specific service-area pages. Where two pages competed for the same search, we consolidated them with permanent redirects so one stronger page could rank. A shockwave therapy page and a set of blog posts around car-accident recovery gave the site more ways to be found.
Google Ads. A search campaign ran alongside the organic work. This is the paid-search side of our Google Ads work. and it brought in visitors while the organic pages matured.
Site speed and quality. The website is built as a fast, static site. Our local search approach treats page speed as part of ranking and conversion, so we test it every cycle with Google's own tools.
The Results
All figures below are from our own reporting systems, checked in October 2026.
| Measure | Result | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Monthly website sessions | 1,013 in July, 1,941 in August, 3,780 in September | Google Analytics 4 |
| Google Maps ranking | #1 for its main city searches | Local rank check, October 1, 2026 |
| Organic ranking | #1 for its main city searches | Local rank check, October 1, 2026 |
| Keywords on page one | 7 tracked searches | Local rank check, October 1, 2026 |
| Mobile and desktop speed scores | 100 out of 100 for performance, accessibility, best practices and SEO | Google PageSpeed Insights, October 27, 2026 |
September sessions were up 95 percent over August. Most of that growth arrived as direct visits and paid search traffic, so we do not credit it all to organic ranking. A first small stream of visitors also arrived from AI assistants, at 27 sessions in September.
On speed, the site passed Google's Core Web Vitals assessment using real visitor data, with the 75th percentile largest contentful paint at about 0.7 seconds.
We report visibility, traffic and speed here because those are the measures we can document end to end. We are not publishing patient counts or income for this practice.
What Made It Work
Local search rewards focus. The practice did not try to rank everywhere. It built clear pages for the services and neighborhoods that matter, kept the site fast, and let the map ranking and the paid campaign support each other. The result was a practice that now shows up first for the searches that matter most in its own market.
Results are specific to this practice, market and time period. Rankings change daily and individual results vary. This case study does not promise any outcome for other practices.
